These are not being removed from mechanization and roll off the belts when they start and stop. Much of the art work and address is removed from rolling around. I used to be a Window Clerk and loved when Postal Artists came in to mail items, featuring hand-made/decorated paper, beautiful graphics, lettering and stamps. Creative customers also mailed beach balls with messages written on them, messages in bottles, etc. These are the type of innovations sorely needed by USPS. One of the best Podcasts ever. Peter Kramer is also an outstanding customer. Many people are so busy using email or bill pay that they must have forgotten the happiness experienced when receiving a card or gift in the mail.
